2) Get involved! Volunteer at your local SPCA, Humane Society, or other organization that helps animals.
3) If you are sickened by something that is happening, write your member of congress, parliament, etc.
4) If you see someone abusing or being cruel to an animal, either tell them to stop, or call the police.

Our description: We can see several lessons in this video: First, don't buy exotic birds - they were not meant to stay in a small cage in your house. They end up suffering, getting sick, depressed, etc. Second, always treat animals well - don't neglect them. The birds shown in this video were almost dead from the neglect and bad treatment they received from their previous owners. The people at Wings Over The Rainbow (a bird sanctuary) rescued these poor birds and nursed them back to health. And that's the third lesson - do something! Helping out feels good, so don't be afraid to get involved.
