2) Get involved! Volunteer at your local SPCA, Humane Society, or other organization that helps animals.
3) If you are sickened by something that is happening, write your member of congress, parliament, etc.
4) If you see someone abusing or being cruel to an animal, either tell them to stop, or call the police.

Our description: As far as we're concerned, people like this are the ones who "get it". This video shows a woman who rescued a cat off the street. The cat had an eye infection which caused him to lose one eye, and was very skinny, yet the woman still took him in. The cat is very affectionate, obviously requiring a lot of love.
