2) Get involved! Volunteer at your local SPCA, Humane Society, or other organization that helps animals.
3) If you are sickened by something that is happening, write your member of congress, parliament, etc.
4) If you see someone abusing or being cruel to an animal, either tell them to stop, or call the police.

Our description: Generally speaking, people in Japan, like the United States, Canada, etc. treat dogs well. Dog breeders, however, especially the unscrupulous kind, often keep their dogs in cramped conditions/cages, in unsuitable places, and don't offer them any kind of love and affection. Most of these breeders treat their dogs like merchandise first, and like animals to be loved second. This especially true in third world countries, where there is a lot of poverty. That's been our experience. We're not saying that there aren't exceptions, and there are scrupulous breeders out there who love their dogs, but the images depicted in this video are nothing out of the ordinary in the world of breeding dogs, anywhere in the world.
