2) Get involved! Volunteer at your local SPCA, Humane Society, or other organization that helps animals.
3) If you are sickened by something that is happening, write your member of congress, parliament, etc.
4) If you see someone abusing or being cruel to an animal, either tell them to stop, or call the police.

Our description: This video shows what goes on in a horse slaughterhouse in Juarez, Mexico. Thousands of American and Mexican horses that "no longer serve their purpose" end up here each year. Before they are killed they are often abused and subjugated to cruel treatment, as laws in Mexico are not as strict as those in the United States, plus the authorities can often be bribed. In our opinion, this is no way to end a horse's life. If a horse is old and/or sick, it should be left to live out its life in a natural way.
