2) Get involved! Volunteer at your local SPCA, Humane Society, or other organization that helps animals.
3) If you are sickened by something that is happening, write your member of congress, parliament, etc.
4) If you see someone abusing or being cruel to an animal, either tell them to stop, or call the police.

Our description: Another clip that shows the mistreatment of cows in stockyards and auction sites in the United States. The Humane Society of the United States wants people and government authorities to do something about how badly these animals are treated throughout their life cycle. The Humane Society wants farm animals to be treated in a more compassionate, respectful way, although they stop short of saying that the whole process of killing cows for meat is wrong.
