2) Get involved! Volunteer at your local SPCA, Humane Society, or other organization that helps animals.
3) If you are sickened by something that is happening, write your member of congress, parliament, etc.
4) If you see someone abusing or being cruel to an animal, either tell them to stop, or call the police.

Our description: This is a video shot by someone who witnessed the cruel treatment of sea animals on a beach in the state of North Carolina. Fishermen were leaving the sharks and rays that they had caught on the beach to die, instead of putting them back into the water. This is another example of how desensitized we have become to the suffering of other creatures. We at EFFA believe that this type of ignorant, cruel behavior is one of the leading causes of the world's problems. For more information about our beliefs, check out our site.
